MOSAIC DANCE COMPANY IS THE PERFORMANCE ARM OF THE FOLSOM LAKE COLLEGE DANCE DEPARTMENT. BY AUDITION ONLY, STUDENTS ACCEPTED INTO THE COMPANY LEARN AND CREATE CHOREOGRAPHY AND PERFORM FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

MOSAIC Dance Company hails from Folsom Lake College, a dance family of diversity: ages, ethnicities, social and cultural backgrounds, and a MOSAIC of dance styles. With education and professional advancement as our goal, dance is our catalyst: MOSAIC Dance Company performs and tours locally, statewide, and nationally acting as ambassadors for our community through dance performance and outreach education youth projects.

Outreach with Folsom's Hope
Locally, MOSAIC has conducted master classes at Empire Oaks Elementary School, performed at-risk youth outreach for the Folsom's Hope non-profit organization at Folsom Sutter Middle School, danced at Sacramento Children's Home and the Shriner's Hospital Operation Christmas Child Fundraiser, and at El Dorado County Elderly Day Center.
MOSAIC On Tour
MOSAIC has toured and trained and danced throughout California at International Dance Academy with So You Think You Can Dance choreographers, and performed many times with Disney Performing Arts at Disneyland. In 2018 MOSAIC went to New York City on a training tour for a week of classes at The Ailey School, Steps on Broadway, and Broadway Dance Center, as well as performed at multiple locations throughout Manhattan and other boroughs.
